Noticing State legislation
I am trying to figure out if there is a way to use Google searches to notice State legislation that is of interest to us. I am running into a problem, and I am wondering if anybody knows the cause and can help.
I decided to try to locate the pending MA bill via google, as sort of a retrospective test. The bill is located at: http://www.mass.gov/legis/HD4626.pdf and has been for several days, so google should have indexed it. Starting with the pdf version of the bill, I cut and pasted the bill's title into google. The title is "AN ACT ESTABLISHING AND REGULATING RESORT CASINOS IN THE COMMONWEALTH." I cut and pasted this title into google, and told it to look for PDF files. So my full search was this: "AN ACT ESTABLISHING AND REGULATING RESORT CASINOS IN THE COMMONWEALTH" filetypedf and it did not bring up the full text of the bill! It did bring up a link to a summary, but it did not bring up the pdf with the bill itself. Does anyone understand google well enough to explain what is going on? |
