Oops, I was taking them from a chart on Wiki, accidently took out regen.

Bucky, for a while the show would be safe since they write/shoot months in advance. Talk shows and soap opera would get hit hard ASAP since they write daily. Oh crap, Daily Show/Colbert.

[/ QUOTE ]

No LOST or 24.

The show have been written only thru nov/dec due to the fact that there are no new show usually till after the holidays.

That is the whole reason they would strike now..screwup the TV season.

So if it is a long strike...which is a very real poss. there wouldn't be any new shows.

[/ QUOTE ]

Is this only for network TV?
Please say yes because no Wire season 5 would be devastating although the strike would make me incredibly productive.

[/ QUOTE ]

The Wire already wrote and completed filming for all eps, as mentioned in the New Yorker article.

Similarly for example, Hiro leaves notes in the sword for Ando in 1600 or whatever (dont know the year, ill say 1600). Those notes logically must have been there with the 'Ando please read' message during the first season (2007) even Hiro should have been able to read them even though he hadn't experienced writing them yet (because they were written before 2007 LDO).

Yes, in writing them he changed history, but he changed history in 1600 which means it was already changed by 2007. The fact that he hadn't changed things yet during the first season is irrelevant.

[/ QUOTE ]

The thing is Hiro can bend space and time so there's not much he can't do. He could have teleported the sword or himself into the future with the scrolls.

There might be weird implications to him changing events that we don't understand yet...why would he go back in time to tell Peter to "Save the Cheerleader, save the world" when ( at that time, with his powers) it would have been much easier for Hiro to save Claire himself?

For now, I'm just going to willing suspend my disbelief and enjoy the show.

He should also be able to talk to PC's (Micah) and find people anywhere (Molly) (They were right next to DL, and Peter has DL's power, so...)

[/ QUOTE ]

Maybe other heroes actually have to use their power around him before he gets them.

[/ QUOTE ] He got radioactive man's power just by meeting him. I don't think we've seen him get a power that didn't manifest first while the power-giver was nearby, though.

Well, phasing maybe.

Network,Cable,Preium channels, movies at the theatre.

Only wrestling and reality TV is safe AFAIK since one doesn't have writers and the other doesn't have thier writers in the union.

[/ QUOTE ]
I agree with pudge. This strike would end up benefiting myself and probably the rest of this country.

The strike won't last, or mess anything up. You know how many talented writers there are foaming at the mouth waiting for a big break like this?

The writer's guild recognizes this too and won't shoot themselves in the foot.
