hay guys heres a weight loss update thread
So I used to be athletic and really healthy in high school. After hs I started playing poker, didn't work out, ate really bad, and got huge. I peaked at ~260 lbs in Jan 07.
BEFORE: (bottom left) AFTER: I took these pics this morning after weighing in at 211 lbs. I still have a long way to go. My goal is to cut down to 160 then put on 5-10 lbs of muscle. All of my weightloss thus far has been accomplished solely through diet. In the past month I've incorporated cardio and also some lifting in the past 2 weeks. My goal is trying to be as healthy as possible, I eat completely clean and have cut out all oils (except for some olive oil), grease, processed carbs, sugary crap. I eat mostly lean meat and vegetables. I ate 1400 cals/day for the past few months, and have bumped it up to a steady 1800 now as I'm exercising. I got my bloodwork done and my cholesterol was at 113. I feel 100x better than I used to, and I'm still really far from my goal. I hope some of you guys are motivated to get healthy from posts by myself and Dids. Being huge is just no way to live life. -nation |
