Widgets/XP Themes/Make my desktop look better

I have a new laptop, it just looks really boring.

I downloaded some widgets and it makes it look a little better but I'm interested in these really cool themes you can download. Only problem is the freeones have adware and the others require to buy some kind of $50 program or something...

I'm running windows XP on a intel core duo 2 1.7ghz processor. I've deleted most of the programs that came with the computer as they are useless. I have about 90% freespace on my C-drive.

anyone wanna something for just improving the overall look of my comptuer?

IconPackager and Style XP are the way to go but they aren't free.

Google "zune theme" for a cool xp color scheme.
I think if you google "free icons" you can find some nice icon packs.
