Default Putting opponent all in (sure he\'s bluffing) when he\'s short stack

Some agressive players do this post flop. Opponent bets and they put him all in directly with a bluff or a semi-bluff. What kind of tells is this move based on? Like how can i read the short stacked player better? Its obvious that a good player changes his play when short stacked.

This is very profitable for the short-stack player oop when a call pre-flop represents 1/3 to 1/2 of his stack . This play is often times referred to as the stop and go .

The idea behind this play is to shove otf with atc's ,denying you the proper odds to play on if you've missed . The added fold equity compensates for the added EV you would have earned had you pushed as the marginal favorite .
