Re: $22 turbo - AJs with 9BB
[ QUOTE ]
[ QUOTE ] [ QUOTE ] fold against from your position. shove in the CO. [/ QUOTE ] I disagree, with 9x BB I am open shoving AJs from any position. [/ QUOTE ] I don't. From the HJ I think it's close with you stack. [/ QUOTE ] Why not? I can't find a calling range, even if we move Hero to UTG, that makes open shoving AJs with 9x BB -EV. |

Re: $22 turbo - AJs with 9BB
I shove this it is inexplotiable though marginal given certain calling ranges.
The thing is we can never been totally sure about calling ranges and if you mess about with the ranges it becomes more +ev either side of the optimal calling range for opponents. Someone posted something along these lines showing how equity in icm based calculation naturally bottoms out at a certain point. |

Re: $22 turbo - AJs with 9BB
I shove ATs too - with 9BB one need to be aggressive and not get blinded away.
If one dont the next time one get to the button one has only 900 chips left. FE are getting very slim with only 3BB and one need to start thinking of shoving with ATC if everyone folds to oneself. Thinking like that; AJs now looks like a monster hand. |
