It would be better to say "No real read."

pf is okay. it's less spewy than some of the postflop play.

on the turn you have a huge decision point. in fact when you bet the flop and get called you need to decide something: are you showing down? if the answer is yes, check the turn. if the answer is no, bet/fold the turn.

read Kit's post and go to tip #3. as i stated in the post it's likely the most important thing to take note of. HAVE A PLAN! don't just play by the seat of your pants in a reactionary mode. be proactive about your play of a hand and what you're going to do if x or y occurs.

a big difference between good players and bad players is good players have a plan for how they're playing a hand and bad players make decisions as circumstances present themselves. while you can't plan for everything, most limit hold em hands have one or two crucial decision points that if you think a street or two ahead, allow you to come out with far fewer mistakes than having no plan and just betting until raised and then trying to decide what to do.

Would "check with outs - bet without" be a good concept to apply here on turn?

oh man. i missed we had a gutshot and flush draw. we can't bet/fold the turn. yes, this is a good spot to check because we have outs. it's not a horrible spot to bet/call, either. when we don't improve on the river, c/f is likely the best play if we bet/call. if we c/c the turn, we can prob. c/c the river.

dear euroglot, do you even bother to read replies to your threads? Even if you feel like everyone here is better than you so you dont want to look stoopid by replying to other posts (is that the reason you dont?) then at least consider acknowledging other posters who take the time to reply.

Again, my advice to you is that you should at least try and give a little back to the forum that has given you so many thoughtful replies otherwise people just might start not being bothered to help you out anymore.

meh, I honestly feel like im talking to a

I dont think the pre flop cap is terrible. We have been 3 bet by somebody with position on us.

Without a read this is often A10+ 10,10+.

Leading the flop is fine after capping pre.

Turn we picked up outs if behind, the villain has 3 Ace outs if we are ahead, I check behind here, intending to call the river or raise if I improve.

Checking the turn can also induce bluffs from hands we are beating.

I'm not fond of capping JJ OOP.
Flop is okay.
Check call the turn with your draws.
Check fold river.
