AKo in the sb
my suits not relevant. 2 ep limpers, 5 folds, unknown btn limps, i raise from the sb, laggy bb and everybody else calls.
(5 players, 10 sb), I check 863 two-tone flop and the button bets, I call, 1 fold and 2 more calls (4 players, 7bb minus rake), another 8 falls off, it checks to the button who bets...what do i do here? |

Re: AKo in the sb
fold. button betting again after getting so many callers on the flop is a sign of strength. you probably aren't ahead, you aren't getting a good price to draw out, and you might be drawing dead anyways. also you aren't closing the action so it might get checkraised behind you. btw I like your flop check.

Re: AKo in the sb
I'd fold. You may be drawing dead and with something like 4.5 outs you don't have the odds to draw plus it could get raised behind you. The button would check behind on the turn if he held a hand like 75, so he could easily have an 8 in which case you are drawing dead. If he has a hand like 76 you may be drawing to 3 outs versus one of the early players' A3s. There are too many ways to be beat or get beat that makes it not worth continuing.

Fold, nh, wp (I agree that the flop check is good oop 5 ways)

Re: AKo in the sb
i folded, so did everybody else (and then i felt dumb (results oriented obv)), the main thing was not closing the action and the possible raise behind me.

Re: AKo in the sb
when it's checked to the btn and he bets i think raising should be considered.
