Default Raider Game Trip Report

Raider games rule. The fans are as psycho as advertised. I give you Exhibit A and rest my case. Truly an awesome experience.

Their fans are scary as hell. Once I went to a Cardinals-Raiders game at Sun Devil Stadium and felt incredibly lucky to be in a skybox (which are at the top of the stadium). It was nonstop fights, everywhere you looked the security in yellow jackets were swarming to break up fights and eject people with the aid of sheriffs. Raiders fans fighting Cardinals fans. Raiders fans fighting each other. There was a scrawny white guy who for whatever reason thought it would be a good idea to wear a Jake Plummer Broncos jersey and sit in the middle of a swarm of Raiders fans. He got his ass kicked and a few minutes later showed up a couple of sections to our left, and got his ass kicked there as well.

From my experience the scariest NFL fan bases are Oakland, Philadelphia, and New Orleans. Although the Nawlins group was mostly just wasted and that made some of them want to fight.

Ironically Clarky's brush with death didn't occur until well after the game. We were inside a bar blissfully drinking beer when there was a murder right outside. One guy wouldn't move out of the way on the escalator so the other guy put multiple caps in his ass.

Standard. You can't let people push you around in Oakland. What else was the capper supposed to do? Dude wouldn't get out of his way.
