STT chat

The STT chat is located on IRC (internet relay chat), which is a widely used chat program. To access:

Go to www.mirc.com and download the client. Fill out the necessary info including username, password, and whatnot. When it asks you which server to connect to, any DALnet server will suffice, but it must be DALnet. To randomize this just type "/connect irc.dal.net" in the status box and it should connect you.

Upon entry, registering your nickname would be a good idea if you intend on frequenting the chat. To register: "/nickserv register passwordhere emailhere" and then follow the email for further direction (its a quick process). When you log onto IRC each time, simply type /identify nickname password. To join the actual chat, simply type "/j #STT" and it will take you directly into the chat. See you in there.
