Default $10NL AK reraised on A high flop

Villain was very Laggy at 63/21, with calling all in on a 4 flush draw earlier in the game.

This is probably standard, but I'm getting my ass handed to me the past couple days and I'm just reviewing.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (4 handed) converter

SB ($10.65)
BB ($9.45)
UTG ($11.60)
Hero ($23.05)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.10, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $0.5</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $0.9</font>, <font color="#666666">1 fold</font>, UTG calls $0.80, Hero calls $0.40.

Flop: ($2.80) A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 9[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(3 players)</font>
<font color="#CC3333">SB bets $0.7</font>, UTG folds, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $4</font>, <font color="#CC3333">SB raises to $7.3</font>, <font color="#CC3333">Hero raises to $10.6</font>, SB calls $2.45 (All-In).

Turn: ($23.15) T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

River: ($23.15) 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] <font color="#0000FF">(2 players, 1 all-in)</font>

Final Pot: $23.15

I reraise preflop. The flop is completely unavoidable.

I think you played it fine. I just hope he didn't have the flush draw, set or crappy 2 pair. Even maniacs hit monsters and they do get paid off. But you have to play this villian this way.

The only question I have is... his flop bet is very weak. Does he normally bet strong with good or bad hands? ie... if he always bets strong with weak or moderate hands and now he leads weak... he could have been trapping. But if you've been watching him, you should know if that flop underbet is out of the norm for him.

I'd shove preflop (yes, i'm serious). Post flop is good.

Nice hand. You're going broke here. Wouldn't surprise me to see a rivered set of 3s.

There are a rash of loons at 'Stars NL10. I had the day off, so I two-tabled the 'Stars NL10 6-max game. Donked off 5 buyins to some brutal beats before I got it back. After 805 hands, I walked away with a whopping $.60 and paid $9 in rake.

High variance, but TAG/ABC poker rules this level.
