A couple of questions about Party

Been a while since I've played there, and a couple of things annoyed me today.

Two of the tables (I was playing four) decided to disconnect for a few minutes. Is this common? I remember it used to happen, but I assumed that they would have fixed in since. Of course the very clever software decides to pull up not one but two status pages, both in IE which I don't even use.

While deciding what to do in one pot, I ran out of time and open folded with a large pot in the center. This almost made me cry. Has it always been this way? I can't remember. I don't like it one bit.

Actually, the software is kind of generally annoying me.
