Default Dick Cheney remarks to AIPAC (American Israel Lobby)

Glenn Greenwald's March 13 column talks about the unchanged mentality of Dick Cheney with regards to war, as evidenced by his remarks at the AIPAC 2007 Conference.

Introduction:

"In his speech to the AIPAC convention yesterday, Dick Cheney laid out his thirst for literally endless war -- and his equally intense aversion to war-avoidance -- as unabashedly as can be. The towering question which America faces is whether it wants to continue to embrace this bloodthirsty and truly crazed vision (which many leading presidential candidates seem to share), or whether we want to repudiate it fundamentally."

Greenwald goes on to examine how similar typical Cheney rhetoric is to that of Osama Bin Laden - and how the United States is losing the "battle of ideas" with the current administration at the helm.

I caught the last moments of this on Cspan and he waxing poetic about the "battlefield" and all this "defending ourselves" from a mysterious "enemy".
