Paris cancels most every tourney between 1130pm and 930am because of extremely low turnouts.

When I was there in late Jan. they only ran this as a 2 or 3 table tourney and the structure was HORRID!

Most small buy in daily's, err, all small buy in ones usually have a terrible structure or short blinds. They are meant to be quick and fun tourneys for the tourists that have very short attention spans when they are on vacation. They are not geared towards the 2+2 value crowd and are probably going to be much smaller in turnout as well.

the best late night tourney is at the sahara at 11pm..7 days a week and draws anywhere from 70-100 players every night...42 dollar buy-in, 1 twenty dollar re-buy which gives you 5000 starting chips total....

I played in the Paris 1:30 am on All-Star weekend, but it was only 1 table, essentially a sit and go. They paid 3 spots.

TI tournaments are lucky to get 2 tables in prime time, so late night ones are probably cancelled most of the time.

Fast structures late at night are not so bad. I'd hate to start one at 1:30 am and still be playing at 10 am.
