i check this turn, to call a potsize bet or smaller on the river to get more of a range of what he limps with UTG to exploit later, and we could be ahead and lose the least amount of money if he turned quads

Only a flush draw on the flop so his range is more geared toward pairs. Check behind on the turn and call a reasonable river bet.

would definitely check this turn and probably call a bet on the river.

folding after his check raise is fine, find a better spot.

yeah check turn, start thinking about his range more. He likely has a decent queen or a flushdraw most of the time. I would check to induce bluffs from flush draws on the river, an dmaybe get value out of something like JJ/TT.
