I read at some site it was confirmed Argy would start with their reserves including only a couple normal starters (Cambiasso and Zanetti). Not that their bench is bad in any way..
Starting eleven according to site is: Abbondanzieri; Hugo Ibarra, Nicolás Burdisso, Daniel Díaz, Zanetti; Luis González, Fernando Gago, Esteban Cambiasso; Carlos Aimar; Rodrigo Palacio y Carlos Tevez.

Tevez was just ranked #8 player in the world by the Times [UK.] above Messi by one slot.
Zanetti obvs on that list. Aimar is pretty darn good.

They don't want to play Mexico, I assume they're just rest Messi and Crespo for 60-70 mins then bring them in.

I'd still take Messi on my team one slot above Tevez any time... obviously he is no mug, but Argentina's team composure is very much different and therefore deserves a second look.

Apart from Messi not starting it wouldn't surprise me if Argy plays better with this lineup, I think they can be better off without everything needing to go through Riquelme. I hope they come through though since I bet them to win the group.
