Default AK vs. decent player

Full Tilt No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

CO ($8.35)
Hero ($27.55)
SB ($13.85)
BB ($85.20)
UTG ($23.90)
MP ($61.75)

Preflop: Hero is Button with A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].
UTG calls $0.25, 2 folds, Hero raises to $1.25, 1 fold, BB calls $1, UTG raises to $5.35, Hero calls $3.85, BB folds.

Flop: ($11.80) T[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
UTG bets $7.75, Hero folds.

Final Pot: $19.55

My only read is that player is 25/17 over a medium sample, so he looks to be better than a typical donk at least. How do you play AK here, pf and post?

That's one big raise he made there - I might fold it, since that will often be KK or AA, but that might be too weak.

Rest played ok.

you fold preflop and you fold postflop. you're dominated 99% of the time. If the flop brings an A or K, you're either getting no action from JJ-QQ, getting coolered by KK-AA, or chopping with AK.

fold preflop. Limp, reraise is AA-KK most of the time here. He will not do this with AQ type of hands, so your either a small dog against an underpair or a huge dog against KK-AA.

Yeah, limp/re-raise is generally going to be a very good hand so just muck PF. If you raised in LP and he re-raised from the blinds, I think you should push some amount of the time with AK. Not here though.

I think you played it fine... The question is, what would you do if K22 flopped rainbow and he made the same bet?
