you guys really tink the rangers were playing up to teh sabres left from the 2nd half of the 1st period on? I thought the sabres were dictating play, limiting most of the rangers chances and getting a lot more of their own...

ps. it took me approximately 30 seconds of watching to make me hate avery

i skipped the third, but the rangers were w/o a doubt the better team in the first half of the game. sure, they took a ton of penalties, but they limited buffalo's chances and got some terrific ones of their own.

With the injuries the Canucks have tonight (Salo, Bieksa, and more) and the 1 day rest, the Canucks are going to get slaughtered tonight.

[/ QUOTE ]

It went down just like I thought it would. The Canucks have zero chance with that godawful defense they played last night.

It may be a bad defense when they're injured, I'll give you that. But as a Canuck fan and follower since the days of Potvin/Essensa/early Cloutier, I think something needs to be done with some of our forwards.

Naslund has lost his edge, or is in the midst of losing it to a serious degree. He's got no finish anymore, long gone the days of the West Coast Express. I think Vancouver needs to do that extra bit of revamping, and deal players like Naslund and Morrison to try to get what we can for them now. Because soon enough, if they keep up with the way they are going, they won't be worth a penny.

everyone already knows morrison is a shitbox - or at least i hope they do, this guy came into the league fairly late and hasn't improved as much as once thought.

naslund is on the downside of his career but you will never get equal value back for either of these players - you will get players in a similar situation or draft picks/prospects, more likely the former than the latter. if vancouver's in a win now mode it's got to hang on to these guys.

I mentioned it before in the regular season, but if this article is coorect, the preferential treatment that Lou Lamoriello is getting needs to stop. He apparently got his series to start 2 days later than the NHL wanted.

I don't even know what's going on in this Devils/Sens game. I expected about a 2-1 final...and there is already 5 goals. Insane.
