Going into the 2nd OT, the shots are something like 55-20 in favor of the Red Wings. Just ridiculous. Kipper is the only thing keeping this remotely close.

And the shots in the series are 254 to 128 for the Wings at the moment. I get the feeling that even if they win tonight, they won't win game 7. They've just been horrible in Detroit (outscored 12-3 in 3 games), but I also think the Wings would rather not risk it. Huge kills for both teams in that 1st OT too, exciting to watch even though I hate both teams.

For the teams being as good as they are at home, the games in Detroit have all been decidedly dominated by Detroit. None of the games in Calgary have been like that in Calgary -- they've hung on for wins at home.

Yeah, I hate the Wings myself, but also want the Red Wings to lose because of that ridiculous prediction earlier in the thread. At least it's been exciting though. Here's to hoping Tanguay scores so I get a game 7.

Annnnd I spoke too soon. GG Wings.

Sweet merciful crap do I hate the red wings. One can only hope the stars pull it together and take them out in the next round.

Franzen finishes it off early in 2OT. About time. Calgary had no business taking the series to 6 games, and that nonsense at the end of game 5 was ridiculous.

Now... who was that joker who said this was the easiest series to pick, because Calgary was the best team on paper in the playoffs?

he showed up to spout off about detroit's classlessness, but is probably cowering in a corner right now.

the 4 #1 defenders let up what, 55 shots tonight? it was absurd how much Detroit dominated.

i used to really hate detroit too, and i will probably go back to hating them during the next series. still, i have to give them a grudging respect.

Funny, that's exactly how I feel, too. As a Canadian, normally I'd root for the Canadian team to win the series, but I really wanted to see the Flames go down because of EvanK's moronic statements throughout this thread.
