Heroes Premiere TONIGHT, Sept. 24th

Well, I have to agree, season 2 episodes 1 & 2 sucked.
I'll stick with the show though. I thought Season 1 didn't get moving until 5 or 6 episodes in. And then it didn't really get good until the second half of the season.
Time will tell if this season redeems itself.

I think the most aggravating thing about this last episode was the guy threatening to put Peter's box in the fire.

the thing that's sticking with me about this episode is that i thought the guatemalan maya was pretty hot, and then that black [censored] came out of her eyes, and that pretty much eliminated her hotness for me.

i rather liked the first two episodes. although i'd be far happier if it was just hiro and peter being awesome without much else in between.

surprisingly, the parkman storyline doesn't suck.

Agree with most, this was not a very good ep. The Hiro stuff is god awful. The Claire stuff isn't totally horrible, just mostly horrible.

Micah is fine, almost interesting. He's not nearly as painful as black eye angst pounding newbies.

the thing i found annoying was peter discovering and playing w/ his powers. were the viewers supposed to get a kick out of those scenes?

the storyline already had peter learn his powers. seemed like the story was spinning its wheels and we were waiting for the characters to catch up to the viewers' knowledge.

I thought the point of that scene was to show that Peter is much more dangerous without the weight of his past and connections limiting his abilities. He tried so hard to harness these powers last year, but now, even though he isn't really aware of what he can do, he seemed to have mastery of them.

The show's really bad moments continue to be in the "Why can't they just do ___?" Peter and the box is a prime example, but there are always others. It is frustrating.

I am enjoying the Hiro story to a degree. It is better when he's interacting with others relevant to the overall story, especially Ando, but this is a good diversion, imo. And the reveal that Kensai is special as well was well done.
