The point is that whether the joke has been perpetrated by the higherups or by some individual moderator, it's totally inappropriate, and yet another abuse of moderator power. The reason that it's inappropriate is because of a significant number of low quality 2p2 moderators who frequently abuse powers. To see an abuse of power that mocks abuses of power is enough to make me pull my hair out. If this is supposd to be a serious system of moderation, it needs to be handled in a professional manner, which this most certainly is not.

i think if matt/mason/david/chuck made him admin for a day as an april fools joke then its hilarious. if its a moderator who changed his name to red then i agree, its a serious abuse of power even though it does happen to be funny.

Gregatron is one of the best mods we have here, and his posts have always been exemplary. Maybe this one was a little OTT, but, come on Granny, you know things have become overheated and he isn't even directly involved; he was just posting out of his own forum as an ordinary Zoot who wants the Zoo to stay as the main font of all Twoplustwo knowledge.

I really believe I am speaking for all members when I ask, please reinstate him, or at least reduce his ban to only three days, Granny or Mat.
