Default 2.20 - KK, mid-late in tourney, ace on flop

I didn't have a read on this guy. With so many people left and the blinds getting large, what do you do here?

If you've got calling stations behind you, this is a push preflop all day. If not you need to atleast put a bigger raise in. You want action, but you don't want any random Ace playing and thats what you're going to get at these stakes

With that preflop raise you're commiting your stack hoping for a call. You can't worry about the Ace at this point. In that situation just plan to go all in on any flop.

I think he's almost certainly beat and he has enough chips to fold. I don't mind the preflop raise to 350 with KK here planning to shove them in on any non ace flop. Shoving preflop is good too.

i would push preflop.
as played i think villain has an ace 90% of the time, so fold :-(

Why do you guys all push preflop? There is only 150 in the pot and I'm the first to enter. If I was more shortstacked, sure, but I'm looking to get SOME action with this hand and I think pushing pf will result in everyone folding more often. I agree I probably should have raised a little more, like maybe 450-500, but I'm not sure why you guys are advocating a push pf. Anyone care to elaborate?

Pushing pf is losing value. I'd make it 250 pf and probably fold to his flop bet. I'd be more likely to open to 300+ if I had a larger stack and wanted to build a pot.

I would have made it 300, no reason to push preflop.
SB has an ace almost every single time, fold the flop.

I like t250-275 preflop, but a push is also good.

i agree with criss, shoving loses value, tho at a 2.20 i don't necessarily think it's as bad as shoving at a 27 or a 60. i like a raise to t250, fold to flop bet.
