Yeah C/R, call river sounds good.
I would bet/call the turn but I don't think the C/R is so terrible: your hand is usually good, he usually bets, and he calls with Ace high all day.

If you have the best hand then he folds a lot when he might fire again on the river. If you are behind then he 3-bets you. So, by checking, most of the time you make more when ahead and lose less when behind. That's why it's horrible.

You didn't say that in the initial post. He's 65/25/1. An AF of 1 doesn't indicate a spaz. Moderately aggressive, but not a spaz.

Even so, I'd rather bet-call the turn then checkraise and open myself up to 3-bets because once he 3-bets you are generally way behind. I like check-call the best. My hand is mediocre and I want to see a cheapish showdown OOP.

my inner poker stove was off. i only have like 55% equity on the turn, in my head at the time i thought it was probably a little over 60%. if i did have that much i should c/r
