Deck change please?

I would just ask for a table and/or seat change. I never ask for a new setup unless I see some physically damaged cards.

Asking for a wash typically doesn't slow the game too much and is another option.

Agreed on this point. There are procedures put in place and if a place has a shuffler, the procedure will undoubtedly be to either wash or don't wash and insert in shuffler. Dealers are not allowed, generally, to alter the shuffle procedure by adding to or subtracting from what rules are already in place. If they aren't shuffling or washing them before being put into the shuffler, that is 100% of the time going to be the procedure in said room.

Eh, maybe my room is more casual than most, but I've never had a problem doing a quick scramble or riffle if the person asking is friendly. By and large this takes about two seconds of my time and is +EV all around. But if the person requesting is an a-hole, then, yes, I'll revert to, "sorry, sir, we're not supposed to do that."

Standard RRSR but without our room's standard scramble first. To be fair, there was perhaps a little bit of clumping here and there (like suited connectors split up by some other card), but you had to look for it and it wasn't anything that should make any sort of difference on play.

lol, what's funny is that big time pro's do this kind of thing too. I think I read on Barry's site that Johnny Chan asks for deck changes all the time...Or is it dealer changes? Either way, same level of superstition.

Except at Harrah's properties where it's REQUIRED that they do a single riffle before putting the deck in the contraption. In which case, asking them NOT to do the riffle would be met in a similar fashion.

to ask for a deck change after only 15 will make u seem superstitious to some at the table, and obnoxious to the rest.
