Talking about full-ring games? I usually fold it from EP. WITHEG says open raise it from UTG+2 and fold it earlier (FR games). This seems a little loose to me but obv. they have researched it well. If someone raises before you from EP I think it's generally a very easy fold.

I raise with it from any position if no one has entered the pot, otherwise I limp. I would only call a raise with it if I am certain at least four players will see the flop. I would only call three bets if the table was loose and six or more see the flop.

i'm wary of it in EP most of the time. when in EP it thrives on multiway action, has good equity against certain ranges, but being HU/SH in poor position(UTG, etc.)can open you up to win the least/lose the most in quite a few instances against decent players.

if you play well after the flop. if you carry a decent edge over the opposition, the positional disadvantage is somewhat mitigated and can make it +EV to play in a variety of ways.

Yea, that's too loose I think. My perspective is always that of live low limit games mind you, but in those games, players with loose aces and kings (who won't lay down no matter how crappy their kicker) abound.

I'll limp with it from early position but I'll only raise with it if I'm in late (possibly middle) position and I'm the first to enter the pot...which is fairly rare, particularly in low limit games.

Like many situations in poker the answers is 'it depends.' If I am in a tight and passive game in which an early position raise will get everyone or all but one or two players out, I will raise. I know that this is rare in low limit games but it does happen. Otherwise, most of the value that I see from QJs comes from hitting a straight or flush in a multi way pot...jb

this is an easy limp in EP 100% of the time against 9 donkeys.

and its an easy raise when 5 donkeys limp in before you.

it becomes borderline in middle whether you should limp or raise.
