OESD turning into a bluff, bad spot?
I might play the flush like that, i'm pretty sure he would raise the flush at the turn. His stats: 20/3/2.7AF/28WtS
UTG ($130.75) MP ($204.40) Hero ($98.50) SB ($257.45) BB ($227.65) Preflop: Hero is Button with 6[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img], 7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. 2 folds, Hero raises to $3.5, SB calls $3, BB calls $2.50. Yes. Bad spot as the turn completed a possible flush draw and villain doesn't fold to a meaningful bet.

Re: OESD turning into a bluff, bad spot?
I like it. Villian seems to not like his hand much anymore. Unless I had been getting out of line recently I would bluff this river most of the time as well.
I do not like the bet size. Villian seems weak so if I had the flush I would bet between 1/3 and 1/2 the pot on the river to get a call from their weak hand. Half pot seems good here, it looks like a value bet but is enougth to get most players to fold. It also saves you money when villian has a real hand, as I doubt he is folding any more frequently to a pot bet on river than a half pot bet. |
