BODOG
I recently made a deposit of $100.00 on Bodog. I played on the site for a couple of months. During that time I increased that amont to $435.00. Because of a credit card error Bodog recieved a back charge for the $100.00. They disabled my account. I called them to correct the matter, but they told me they were keeping all the money.
I feel this is unfair. |

Re: BODOG
That sucks. Can you elaborate on the chargeback? How could that accidentally happen?

Re: BODOG
Nice that they'd just keep the money instead of returning it to those you won it from.

Re: BODOG
If you deposit funds illegally they disable your account and confiscate the funds.

Re: BODOG
On the credit card Bill the charge was listed under Sav call. We called the number that was listed with it. they said that they were save aloha and that someone else was using their number but they didn't know who. They recommended that we stop payment and we did. Only when Bodog disabled my account did I know that the charge was for Bodog. I called Bodog to correct the matter but they said that even if I made a deposit my balance would be $o.oo

First of all after the $100 credit card deposit weren't you even a little bit curious why no Bodog transaction had appeared on your statement yet an identical $100 charge to "Sav call" did? Secondly why would you take the advice of some unknown person suggesting a stop payment instead of simply contacting Bodog directly to see if that was indeed their transaction? It seems to me the average person would have put two and two together and realized that was Bodog transaction or at least investigated more. |
