NL200 - KK, weak fold on flop OOP?
Villain is a 17/13/3 reg. I'm pretty sure he'd 3-bet pf w/ JJ+ so in the heat of the action it seemed like an easy fold, but now I'm not so sure anymore. Thoughts on how to continue in this spot? Call and c/f turn? B/f turn?

The raise is pretty small, and no really draws out there. Folding is pretty weak, i think i call his flopraise and c/f a large bet on turn.

i really dont think folding is weak here.. his range is probably alot of pairs, and he'll prob squeze 1010 and jj.. i really think its insane to do anything but fold unless hes capapble of making big moves in he knows u know sitations

What is CO like? [/ QUOTE ] Just checked my notes on him: weak tight. Makes it an even easier fold. |

Re: NL200 - KK, weak fold on flop OOP?
if the CO is clearly weak tight, btn may know this and might be "sandwiching" you against the guy, since you cant stand the action with a player still left to say.
btw, a 16$ bet on this flop seems a little weak from villain's eyes. maybe he is raising any pocket or a 9 for protection against a likely AK. besides that, i dont think call and c/f turn is an option since is very likely that he will bet any turn again against one player, so if we´re going to fold, just fold the flop. actually, if we call, and CO folds im getting in on the turn. if we call and co calls, then maybe btn will check behind a hand we beat and bet a hand that have us beat, so its a ackward spot anyway since we are either giving a free card or folding to turn aggression. im new to cash games, so maybe im just levelling myself. |

Re: NL200 - KK, weak fold on flop OOP?
While I don't think this is weak, I do think that btw very well could be making a move here too. He knows that this more than likely has missed your range and he knows that when CO just calls, he's in a prime spot to squeeze here.
Not saying he is, but just saying some villains are capable of this.... |
