Default Neteller Question

I wanted to bankroll a friend for online poker. Want to do it through Neteller, though he is not comfortable linking it up to his bank account. Could he just set up a Neteller account, and then I transfer the $$$ from my account to his? Then when he wants to cash out he just transfers back to me? Thanks.

Yeah, that'll work. Not sure if there are any fees for member to member transfers, but it's doable.

I believe that in order to do peer-to-peer transfers, both accounts need to be verified...and that means he'll have to connect his new Neteller account to a bank account anyway. If he's uncomfortable with linking to his regular checking account he can use a savings account (which he can leave empty) or get a new free checking account at a different bank.

Unless theyve changed something recently, you cant use a savings account. It has to be a checking account.

They told me I couldn't use a savings account, then I tried anyways and it worked.

Just transfer some money to him at whatever site he wants to play at. Uncertified player->player = no. Uncert'd site -> player is fine.

Easier method:

Open a joint checking account to fund his NT account. You can probably find a low-fee/no-fee one easily. You will be able to deposit to/withdraw from that checking account as needed.
