Default ATo defense

Unknown villain but probably on the tight side. I've also been pretty tight at the table.

PokerStars 3/6 Hold'em (6 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

Preflop: Hero is BB with T[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], A[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img].

Flop: (6 SB) T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img], J[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

Turn: (4 BB) 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB calls.

River: (6 BB) J[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, SB raises, ...

Easy call? Easy fold? Easy check-through to begin with?

He probably would have raised with a J earlier and a flush is also quite unlikely, so I'd call this while throwing my keyboard out of the window or baning my head against the wall.

Many players seem to be obliged to pull off some FPS bluffs with that river...

I think this is an easy fold because nobody ever folds here.

EDIT: easy value bet though as he'll call with lots of hands you beat, like PPs, worse Ts, A-high, etc

I call but I probably don't make this bet on the river being the weak tight nit that I am. I belive that you probably have the best hand and he may be making this raise with hands such as KT or QT.

I'd call. It'll be a bluff often enough in my experience, especially in a blind battle scenario.

I've been getting bluff-raised on the river a fair amount lately, and that's a bluff-raise kind of card, so I would call.

But that's late-night LAG Party 5/10, and Stars may be different.

In any case, the fact that it's a river checkraise (rather than just a raise) makes me somewhat more pessimistic, and I do figure Villain probably backed into a flush. Edit: Another possibility is that he was sandbagging the whole way.

Great thought process here, RDH, but he'd have to be a really good player for me to lay it down here and put him on that line of thinking.

... I folded. Not sure I should have though so I called down a couple of other raises he made after that.
