Default Pokerstars Saturday FPP tourneys

I sent an email to Stars about this quite a while back (few months) and never quite got an answer. So here goes nothing.

On Saturdays, Stars has an LHE tourney. Entry fee = 50 FPP. I do it because it doesn't cost me real money and I'm just the kind of nit who enjoys LHE tourneys.

Once a month, the entry fee jumps to 200 FPP. The prize pool for the first tourney is $1000. The prize pool for the bigger tourney? $2500.

Shouldn't it be a bigger prize pool?

The only argument I can see is that if the field is only 62% as large, but it seems to me they're roughly the same size.

FPP's are normally worth roughly 1.5 to 1.6 cents each.
These tourneys represent a great value and or great overlay. The FPP's end up being worth over 3 cents each for many of these I would imagine.

The 200 FPP one right now is about 400 players for $2500 prize-pool.

Entry value is $6.25.
200 FPP's = about $3.

So you spend $3 to get a tourney entry worth more than double that.
That's a decent little overlay for you.

If the 50FPP/$1k one draws 500 players:
Each entry is worth $2.
It cost you roughly $0.75 to enter.

Heh, I thought the first response from a regular was going to berate me for it... I actually do pretty well in the 50s, better than I usually have been doing in the $1.50s or $4s, sadly.
