Default 10 TP, OESD + FD critique my play please

Playing draws is something I'm having trouble figuring out.

CO is 40/8 over 50 hands, WTSD 35

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $0.10 BB (7 handed) Hand History Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

MP2 ($10.65)
CO ($5.05)
Hero ($10.15)
SB ($9.90)
BB ($5.80)
UTG ($10)
MP1 ($9.20)

Preflop: Hero is Button with 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 8[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img].
3 folds, CO calls $0.10, Hero calls $0.10, SB completes, BB checks.

Flop: ($0.40) 6[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img], 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img], 5[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (4 players)
SB checks, BB bets $0.2, CO calls $0.20, Hero calls $0.20, SB folds.

Turn: ($1) 8[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (3 players)
BB bets $0.2, CO raises to $1, Hero raises to $9.85, BB folds, CO folds.

Final Pot: $12.05

I raise it preflop, but a call is OK.

I like a flop raise. You can take the pot with 8 high a lot and likely have more than 15 outs if called.

If you had raised the flop and been called, I would check the turn through if I miss and see a free river.

The way you played the flop, I don't like the turn push. CO usually has 88 beat and you will usually get called (especially at $10). You are likely to have lots of outs, but not enough to make it +EV, if called with only 1 card to come.

You gotta raise the flop - you have a huge draw and 2 opps, your pot equity is GOOD as long as they don't have a set AND a higher FD (sooo unlikely). This is the kind of hand where I would actually want 2 callers. If they both fold, meh, but you gotta set yourself up to win a big pot here somehow.

Yeah, raise the flop. This is when you are in front of most hands (excluding sets) and it might buy you a free river.
On the turn you are actually behind an over pair or a made str.
No value in pushing. All worse hand folds only better hands call. You might get a higher flush draw to call, but they might have 15 outs to improve (9 to the flush and 6 over cards to pair)

Yeah, I felt like I should have raised the flop and not pushed the turn. I really don't expect it to be for a free card at this level, but how much can it be for value? We're looking at 6 outs to the nuts and another 9 to a solid hand. How much to raise the flop? Would making it ~$1.20 be about right(either one of villains would be getting 2:1 on a call) or should I be looking to make it just enough they both could call - something like $.60-.80?

Thansk for the responses
