Snoop dog denied UK visa From our ANI Correspondent Washington, Mar 25: Rapper Snoop Dogg may be forced to cancel the UK leg of his international tour after being denied a UK visa. The 35-year-old performer, who has also had acting roles in films such as Starsky and Hutch, has been arrested a number of times in the US for drug and weapons offences. "Snoop and his team are mystified at the decision and are hoping that the British government will reconsider this decision, especially as he has toured here before and sees the UK as being the highlight of the tour," a was quoted by Contactmusic, as saying. In April last year Snoop Dogg and members of his entourage were arrested at Heathrow airport for "violent disorder and affray" after being turned away from a British Airways' first class lounge. One month later Home Office official judged that the rapper, real name Calvin Broadus, should be denied entry to the UK for the foreseeable future due to the trouble at the London airport as well as his previous convictions in the US. His spokesperson added: "He has asked how he can help rectify the situation and would happily talk to and give assurances to the officials."
