Can I get money if I wear a FTP badge?

I was looking at the pictures from the NBC Heads-up Championship at CardPlayer and noticed that a lot of people were wearing FTP badges even though they're not "officially" on team Full Tilt; e.g. Paul Wasika and Chad Brown had one on.

Are these people soon-to-be on the Full Tilt team or did FTP offer them a small sum of money to wear their badge while on TV? If they were paid, does anyone want to guess how much?

They are definitely compensated something for this, and while Id guess that they wont be FTP pros anytime soon, id imagine full tilt paid a percentage of their buyin for the tournament, possibly even the full buyin, for the advertising.

I'm pretty sure that it would be the full buyin. I had a buddy ft the 6max at the wsop last year and fulltilt said they would pay 12g to wear ft gear at the main event. He declined.

What are the reasons for declining?

We aren't sure why he declined. Something about not being labeled by a site. If anyone is curious his name was pete. He made the horrible all in vs. hachmen

I just watched this hand against Hachem on ESPN. Your buddy Pete wasn't wearing FTP attire, but he did have an UltimateBet shirt on! I guess the reason he declined FTP is because UB offered more. [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img]
