Default AP - Casino Royale to air in China without changes

According to a November 17 report by the Associated Press, the Chinese government will allow the latest James Bond-007 film Casino Royale to air in Mainland China, WITHOUT any changes.

Casino Royale will expose the Mainland Chinese audience to Texas Hold'em for the first time.

Casino Royale opens in China on January 30.

CHINA, YOU SAY?

China... the WAVE OF THE POKER FUTURE. This will surely pave the way for their TOTAL GLOBAL DOMINATION of the Texas Hold'Em market!

I think the drinking game should be for every time he mentions it in a post (not just for every post that mentions it).

I count 6 different 'Chinas' in this post (if you include the subject-line and the 'china' at the very end of the link).

Ive been wondering if adding China to the online and B&M poker world might change things. Are there plans to build casinos in China or get them access to online poker sites?

I've heard rumors that there is a little island now owned by China that has casinos

Whether the peons in green pajamas can get there, I don't know.

And I'm not sure if they can get internet access to gaming sites. That won't matter if we don't either...

We are living in an increasingly totalitarian world. Access to gaming sites is the least of our problems. It's nice we can fiddle while rome burns, so to speak. But our decreasing freedoms are a serious matter. And maybe the loss of access to gaming sites will start to wake people up.
