Excellent post Oliver.... Can I finally stop hearing China, China, China/ Ho, Ho, Ho... in EVERY WPT POST on this site...

BTW the others are right, a represive regiem always strives to control the thoughts and activities of its subjects, just ask Iran, North Korea, the Taliban, Bill Frist & George Bush....

Seriously though China has banned online Multiplayer adventure games like Warcraft, City of Heros and others. What the HECK makes you think they'll say those other activities are bad, but Poker is OK... Just wondering...

In China, poker is nothing new...

They do know how to play poker mostly 5 card stud.

I bet 1 american who loses 5k on some weekend would need 100 chinese to generate the same profit to the site..

a few chinese players made it on to the small site i prop for sometimes. They were playing 5/10 and 10/20 like total psychos. Not lag, just crazy/stupid.
