Default NL10 - Playing QQ out of SB when turn brings an Ace

Villain is 25/16/3 over 54 hands.

Poker Stars, $0.05/$0.10 NL Hold'em Cash Game, 5 Players
LegoPoker Hand History Converter

Hero (SB): $10.30
BB: $5.20
UTG: $18.30
CO: $13.05
BTN: $12.15

Pre-Flop: Q[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] dealt to Hero (SB)
UTG folds, CO raises to $0.30, BTN folds, Hero calls $0.25, BB folds

Just going to call here. I guess you could argue for 3-betting here, but I really only like to 3-bet KK+ or AK in this spot.

Flop: ($0.70) 3[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 4[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $0.50, Hero calls $0.50

Pretty good flop for me. I could bet out, but I elect to check/call. Maybe I should've led out or check-raised here?

Turn: ($1.70) A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO bets $1, Hero calls $1

An overcard hits. He's definitely going to bet this whether he has an Ace or not, so I elect to call and check/fold river.

River: ($3.70) 8[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (2 Players)
Hero checks, CO checks

River is essentially a blank, so I follow through with my check/fold plan.

I feel that my turn call is correct, but I like comments on pre-flop and turn. Am I losing value here? I feel I'm playing this way too passively.

3 bet pre, to about 1.1

as played, c/r flop to around 2, calling a shove since his range would contain a ton of draws and middle pairs

as played, if you say hes going to bet anything despite the A, then c/c on turn looks ok

as played, river is std

3 bet preflop for multiple reasons. Playing QQ OOP when you were not the aggressor preflop can make it hard on many flops, second if you 3-bet preflop both an ace or king on flop are great aswell since you can just c-bet the scare cards.

Micro explained the later streets well.

3-bet preflop for straight value vs. villains decently wide CO range. OOP I'd want way more money in pre, like a PSB + 1BB or so.
