Please stop making thread titles in all caps.

Getting a bill passed is not an overnight process. Read TheEngineer's threads and take action by writing letters to your representatives, making phone calls, and sending e-mails.

Do you not remember how long it took them to get it to the point where they had a chance to do that? Republicans had introduced bills to ban internet gambling every year for like 10 years before that.

The PPA can not afford to be successful. It would put them out of business. Keep send them your donations.

This, of course, is the correct answer. Anyone who thinks lobbying groups really want closure on their issue or thinks that Al or Barney really want to see the so-called ban repealed need a reality check.

Just to remind everyone -- Barney is only interested in what the banks tell him to be interested in. Al is only interested in someone (or some group) paying his freight. Sad, but true. We all know that answer will be that once they get out of this election cycle, if the Dems are still in power (and they should hold the House for sure and probably the Senate as well), many of you will be going through harrahs.com to get your online poker fix and it will be funded directly through your neighborhood bank. That will be legal -- anything outside of the U.S. will not.
