Re: Lori MLB thread.
YTD 2-0 +2.05
I hate this, but I'm going to post it anyway. I thought about it for quite a while because I'm picking the same team two nights running, so again, comments greatly appreciated. First off, I'd just like to point out that this is nothing to do with streaks and stuff. I don't care that TOR scored 11 last night (although I did care last night of course ) and I don't care that SF have been cold. We can forget those things. So, Toronto bats and Giants bats are reasonably similar, Toronto shade it on bullpen, and Giants have home advantage in an interleague match. I'm going to randomly say that all cancels out, and look at the pitching. Well, the line can be explained easily enough. There's no deeper meaning here. Towers is 2-3, 5.15 and Morris is 6-3 2.51. Punter's paradise. I'd like to look at the xFIP though, I'm looking at this because I think Towers is better than Morris, and would like some backup. I like to use xFIP as an indicator to see if I'm going nuts, rather than a critical analysis, and it says the following: Towers 3.83, Morris 4.66 I like the fact that the pick is counter-intuitive, that's often a sign that the mugs like myself have backed the 'obvious' side in too far. Toronto for me at +135 , 1 unit. Lori |

Re: Lori MLB thread.
Nice pick, I'm already on it for 1 unit.

Re: Lori MLB thread.
Love the analysis. Since you're on my Jays, I might as well go along for the ride.
