ESPN is reporting Shula is a finalist for the Dolphins job... Which would be interesting.

How bad was he with the Bengals? His record sucked, but was that more reflective of their drafting then, or his coaching?

wow, even coaching 14 seasons with only 14 games, Don Shula had only 2 seasons in which he failed to win as many games as David Shula's best season.

Although I'd love to see Mike end up with a good coaching job i don't think his head coaching skills are good enough for any position at either level. While I think Mike is a great QB's coach he doesn't obtain some of the characteristics that good HC's have. He isn't an inspirer and also he isn't good at motivating players to play at there maximum level. This is what Bama fans saw and the administration which led to his termination. I think daddy Don is getting Mike a little in over his head on this one.... but good luck to them in the future
