Why does ESPN dedicate so much attention to Randy Jensen?
The last two years they've shown multiple hands he was involved in. I really don't understand why since he's supposedly busted out on the first day of the ME every year he's played in it. Why bother showing him at all when it's obvious he'll never get very deep? The only thing I've ever seen him accomplish is taking 2nd to Barry in some WPT event.
More importantly, he comes off as more of an ass every time I see him. He was totally classless at this years ME. First he shoved with QJ, then he begged for another player to fold in a very serious tone (possibly the most obvious sign of weakness I've ever seen) and then accused him of making a terrible call when he tabled AQ. Give me a break "dream crusher!" |

If you think that's bad you should have seen the first quarter of PPT Commerce.

I agree that he sucks but this year he was shown because he happened to be sitting at the featured table. That may happen when your draw includes Hellmuth.

Re: Why does ESPN dedicate so much attention to Randy Jensen?
this guy really doesnt seem any different from that young kid [zilem??] from the circuit tournament that everyone was making fun of a couple of weeks ago - you get the impression that when he makes a move he is totally in the dark like an amateur and is just praying it will work.
btw, while we're on the subject, david williams is a donk calling station payoff wizard extraodinaire. if u can have a better hand than him when he has TP on a relatively dry board u will stack him every day of the week and twice on sunday. the guy is as good at making laydowns as aaron kanter. |

He's a douche, but I loved when he called out the only bigger douche at the table for using (or butchering, rather) Matusow's "kiddie pool" line.

Yes, Dream Crusher. I remember that he gave himself some ultra-gay name when he was on that WPT episode but I couldnt quite place it. Thanks.
Dream Crusher, wow. |

Re: Why does ESPN dedicate so much attention to Randy Jensen?
Whenever there is a Randy Jensen thread I feel obligated to make a post saying what an epic d-bag this guy is, even though it's been said a million times already.
I would enjoy punching him in the face. |
