I'm actually going to attempt to answer my own question on this one cuz I just got thinkin a bit more. Would it have been better if I lead this Flop for like $3.25- with the intention of calling a shove? My line might let AK bluff me too much here, and also for all I know it could 99-JJ value pushing...

I think check-shove here is better then leading that flop, only his AA-KK maybe 10-10 and JJ will call all of his other hands would fold. Hard to put him on a range tho without reads.
3betters make lots of money with their cbets, causing QQs etc, the better hands, to fold.

Either way, you have to shove...Why else would you call pre-flop? What kind of flop did you want? You werent getting great odds for a set. If you put him on KK+ shoulda folded pre

I prefer betting out 2/3 pot to an unknown here. That board is way too drawy to let them peel one for free. Shove as played.

I would fold preflop with no reads.

Since not playing for a set with your call. Ideal flop, I would ch/r allin.

I would fold preflop too against someone i had no info on, $5nl players rarely 3bet preflop like this without aces or kings from my experiance.

Pm me villians name and i'll give you some stats on him if i have any. (from 100k hands)
