That's not a stop'n'go. A stop'n'go would be calling a raise OOP preflop and pushing any flop. This is a go'n'go.
With that stack size, just push preflop. If you raise and get called there's 6k in the pot and 2.4k in your stack - you'd have to be very lucky to get a fold post-flop giving those odds.

[/ QUOTE ] Yes - but unless he's an idiot this shouldn't make much difference; he ought to know that he is effectively calling you AI if he calls the raise. However, this is a $6, so you can't assume that he knows anything of the sort and a push will have more FE because it costs him more chips to see a flop. More importantly, you don't have enough chips to play the hand if you raise (-> push preflop), and you won't have enough chips left to get a fold on the flop even if he missed (-> push preflop).
