It is also of note that if the Raps fall behind Miami to 4th seed and have to play Chi or Cle they will most likely not have home court advantage. That would be bad news.

I think they'll ease him back in. This long 4 day layoff really helps him get back into the pace of a game, but I don't see him playing the minutes he did before he got his surgery until possibly the last regular season game.

Isn't it awesome that the raps are playing so well without Bargnani and Garbo? I love the fact that Joey G, Humps and now Mopete are getting more time and making the most out of it. These guys are busting their humps everytime they are on the court and shows how deep the raps are. I love it!

WOW just heard something shocking. My friend told me he was listening to HockeyCentral and Nick Kypreos said that there's rumours of Colangelo taking full control of MLSE. Apparently the higher-ups in the organization want Colangelo to run hockey operations too LOL.
Peddie probably won't like this idea but fk Peddie.

I wouldn't be too surprised if it's true though, the Leafs are in real bad shape for the near future.

Yeah, Kypreos is an idiot, but why would he make something up like that. The Leafs are in terrible shape. I think they have to let Sundin go, or at least restructure him. Sundin and McCabe's contracts will have us in a deep hole for years, and JFJ will regret giving up a blue chipper like Rask for Raycroft.
The Leafs need to bring in a proven GM and let him run the show like BC for the Raptors. Keep Richard Peddie, Tannenbaum and them out of the decisions, unfortunately we are stuck with Peddie's ego.

So Miami has flopped the last 2 games against Charlotte, all but giving the Raptors the 3rd seed.. Which is great news.

NJ pulls within 2 of Washington for 6th.. As much as it would be fun to play Vince in the first round, I think I'd rather take Washington with their depleted lineup. 2nd place is going to be tough because we'd have to leapfrog 2 teams, but anything is possible.. I'd definitely want 2nd regardless of a tougher first round matchup since it would mean home court in the 2nd round of the playoffs.

Speaking of playoffs, tickets go on sale tomorrow @ 10AM for "Raptors Insiders" (just sign-up using an email address at their homepage)

Barnangi out with flu. Damn. He's going to need some time to get back into the flow of things, as he'll be very important in playoffs. Oh well, 3 games to get ready instead of 4.
