Turn decision #1
I raise TdTh UTG. I have a TAG image.
MP calls. He is fairly tight preflop and pretty staightforward post flop. No great specific reads. BB calls. He is a LAG The flop: AdQd6s I bet, MP calls, BB folds. The turn: AdQd6sJc What is my plan? Bet-fold, bet-call, check-call, check-fold? If I bet the turn and I am just called by MP and then a blank hits the river what is my plan? |

Re: Turn decision #1
I'd just check fold since he plays straight forward.

I actually think c/f is correct here.

Re: Turn decision #1
C/F seems like the only play here. If you bet the turn, then check fold the river.

Re: Turn decision #1
I think you check/fold here. Some boards are so bad that I think its ok to do this. Somebody needs to pokerstove it to really prove the point that you are way behind the tight-standard CC range. But I think AQ-A9s, KQs, KJs are the types of hands that are most popular in his range.

Re: Turn decision #1
You guys are all kidding right? He is straight forward so I put him a on draw or maybe middle pair. You say your image is tight. You already bet the flop. Bet the turn IF you get raised re raise and if he is any kind of player he will fold. He does not have an Ace if he raises on the turn he probably has a J or MAYBE a Q and should dump to aggression. Or he MAY be on the flush draw hoping to push you out. No heart hits the river I feel pretty good and again he has to be the type of player to release 2nd or 3rd pair which is what i would put him on here.

Re: Turn decision #1
straight forward to me means that IF I were beat on this flop I would probably know it by the turn ESPECIALLY if my image is TAG.
