Re: 2/4 nl river spot vs. bad player
since hes a bad player I think there is way too much value to just call
btw Full Tilt Poker - No Limit Hold'em Cash Game - $2/$4 Blinds - 6 Players - (LegoPoker Hand History Converter) Hero (SB): $706.90 BB: $570.70 UTG: $400.00 MP: $400.00 CO: $408.30 BTN: $2,675.15 Preflop: Hero is dealt 2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] (6 Players) 3 folds, <font color="red">BTN raises to $14.00</font>, Hero calls $12.00, BB folds Flop: ($32) K[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 3[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] (2 Players) Hero checks, BTN checks Turn: ($32) J[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $32.00</font>, BTN calls $32.00 River: ($96) A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] (2 Players) <font color="red">Hero bets $80.00</font>, <font color="red">BTN raises to $160.00</font> Hero? |

Re: 2/4 nl river spot vs. bad player
i'd just call here. i think you're going to run into a slowplayed set or a rivered straight too much. plus he's going to fold a lot of stuff here that you do beat.

Re: 2/4 nl river spot vs. bad player
Min3betting really isn't a bad idea here. He's calling with any hand that he'd min-raise with, and he's only pushing stronger hands. You're up against 2 pair more than a set or straight, IMHO.
Calling is standard against a good player though. Although you're almost never in this spot against a good player. |

Re: 2/4 nl river spot vs. bad player
I like min-3bet/folding line, though I don't feel you'll get shown a set too often here, mostly Aces-up and straights (45?)
