I was watching the changes on PokersStars' Test site for the last month or so. I'm surprised they decided to deploy the update to the main site because to me, it definitely was not ready for prime time.

Customer service told me that they have backed off on the update. They also asked me to send them the .log files from the Stars folder, so it appears they are having serious problems with it. The new version was apparently up for only a short while, which explains why not everyone got the update.

Good. This means that an uninstall/reinstall with the latest download from the website should get me playing again today.

I got stuck with that new update and I thought Stars had turned into Prima Poker.

The most annoying thing was scrolling through large lists of tournaments. I can't really explain the problem but it scrolls through ones visible already on your screen rather than showing the ones up and down, if you know what I mean (probably not), which was annoying.

are you still stuck with the new update?

Could probably uninstall it and then go to the website and reinstall to get the old one back.

I haven't loaded it up on my normal computer today. I'll try later and if it's still the old version, I'll do that for sure.

I haven't noticed any updates of changes in behavior on Stars the last few days--but I'm not a big user of AHK or auxiliary software like PokerTracker, etc...

Nevertheless, it occurred to me that it might be a good idea if we had a sticky or something where people could post the latest version number of all the popular poker clients, and perhaps some indication of what features have been changed in the latest release. Mods? What do you think?
