Also from what i saw from my the villian i couldn't see him making a big bluff like he did. Every time I look at this hand i convince myself more and more that I made the wrong play. You guys will most likely agree that i most likely made the wrong play |

Re: tough decision with QQ on flop
This looks very much like a small pp, likely 22, 33. Villians 13/6 stats indicate that he plays every pocket pair, but due to the low pfr % he probably only limps the smaller ones (e.g. 22, 33).
This could be a semi bluff with A4 hearts, but I'm not convinced... I think villian probably leads out for like 1/2 psb with a hand like that... but I cant be sure. AT is within his range pf, but I doubt he c/r / bets AT here ever. The only possible hand you beat is JJ, but I think he prob raises that up pf. I put villian on 22 / 33. You could call / re- evaluate turn since your deep and the raise is small and I don't think he c/r flush draw often. As played I think you have to fold to the 4 bet (almost) minraise here. I'm sure he has a set and he wants you to call / shove. He's trying to slowly build the pot and take all of your 170BB stack with his set. |

Re: tough decision with QQ on flop
Against a 13/6 this is a fold for me. Not an easy fold, and some days I talk myself into calling, but calling is -ev imho. Raising to on $1.5 on the button pf is a problem, make it $2.50 next time, and bet closer to the pot on the flop. I think your flop play is solid, well played other than your weakish bets.

Re: tough decision with QQ on flop
3-betting and folding this flop makes me want to cry.
Your turning a strong overpair into a complete bluff. Given stacks, I would call the $5 c/r and evaluate the turn. |

Re: tough decision with QQ on flop
yeah, might as well throw your money out the window if you're going to play it like this.
getting it in and folding are probably close in terms of ev, but raise-folding is a big mistake here. |
