Default NL10 Good line with top pair OOP?

I hate the way I played this hand because it seems so passive. I don't think I should lead or CR flop, though, because I'm only getting called by hands that beat me. My flop check/call looks really weak, so I can't tell if he has a hand or is two barreling on the turn. Is the turn call OK or is it spew?

If you're going to take a flop check-call line (checkraising as the last money you put in UI is an option -- not for value but to protect your hand), then it should probably be with the plan of folding UI if Villain makes a real bet on the turn, unless you have a read that he's a two-barreler.

If you have a read that he often doesn't c-bet, then folding the flop is an option, but barring such a read, I don't think you should be calling preflop if you're going to check-fold the flop when flopping top pair.

I'd check the river here hoping he bluffs a busted draw. By betting out on this river I think you're only getting called by hands that beat you.

i'd fold preflop, and i'd also 3bet pf before i'd ever call. sc don't play too well oop with no initiative.

Did you answer your own question?

You hit your hand on the flop! Why are you calling this pre-flop if you don't plan on betting when you hit?

Any reads on villain?

As played I would have folded to the turn bet. I wouldn't call it spew, but definitely a leak.

On river, bet more! You have 2 pair, and this ahead of so many hands he will be calling with. Should be a 2/3-3/4 pot bet here.

Fold Preflop
Reraise flop
Reraise Turn
Bet More than 40% of the pot on the river(atleast 70%)
