NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board
Villain is 27/17/3, no specific read I'm going to try to establish a range and check it out in pokerstove, but am looking for any input on the hand. Can/should I be folding that?

Re: NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board
Here are some numbers. Anyone think this range is accurate?
Hand 0: 52.579% 47.62% 04.96% 1320 137.50 { QdQh } Hand 1: 47.421% 42.46% 04.96% 1177 137.50 { 99+, 55-22, AdKd, AhKh, AdQd, AdJd, AdTd, 6s5s, T9o } My smallish bet on the turn was intended to keep weak overpairs (88-JJ) in the pot. |

Re: NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board
Im probably giving this hand up on the turn (RIO) by check / folding, but I'm definetely giving it up after getting c/r.

hes in position, so it's not a c/r. Does that affect your thinking?

Re: NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board
I think the flush draws are more likely to get aggressive on the flop and i can't picture those hands min-raising. 99-JJ seem pretty optimistic given the action, I think we need to give this up on the turn.

I think we should be checking this turn. Sometimes to fold sometimes to call.

I cant see folding here. Range seems pretty wide...ahead here more than behind imo.

Re: NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board
I do not think he min raises you on the turn with a smaller over pair, possible a set and or AK suited, i had a similar hand come up the other day and made the same mistake to push but think about it, he raised you 3 bet he called you bet flop he called then you bet turn which is a very very strong line he prolly dose not think he has much fold equity i don't think he is making a play i think it is a clear fold. be interested to see what he had.

Re: NL200 QQ semi-deep on low board
I think that the range you have given him is way too wide. All Axdd hands will make a move on that flop figuring that they have at least an overcard and a flush outs as well as alot of FE consideing you peolly need KK+ to call a shove. He has called a 3bet pre so by pushing the flop he knows you will be hard pressed to call with a hand like QQ.
My thoughts above are strengthened when he min raises you on the turn. This is hardly ever a bluff and is always done with a hand he figures to be best. Depepnding on what type of player he is this could include 99-JJ which is about the only hands you beat that he plays this way. I don't mind leading the turn sometimes against certain players however this is a clear fold for me on the turn. |
